Ointments made from Certified Grade A organic herbs grown at Djanbung Gardens infused in cold-pressed organic vegetable oils & natural pure beeswax - for external use only.

Winged (Bangkok) Yam - D. elata Excellent eating variety boiled, baked, in curries & stews. Has vigorous vine through summer with attractive leaves - dies back for winter/dry season. Prefers well drained soil & needs trellis.

Tumeric - The famous spice giving curries their yellow colour. Use fresh tubers grated. Also medicinal applications. Flowers also edible. Plant dies off for winter/dry season.

These products are made to unique recipes developed by Robyn Francis. Robyn spent 3 years learning traditional herblore from the village Krauter Frauen (Herb Women) in Bavaria (Sth Germany) in the 1970’s, established and managed an organic herb farm in NSW Australia 1977-83 where she began to develop her unique quality products. She then manufactured and sold these products in Sydney for several years in the mid’80’s but discontinued this work due to her permaculture commitments. Now at Djanbung Gardens she once again grows her organic herbs and brings these products to you with assistance from her daughter & Djanbung interns.
